Headmaster's Welcome
A Christ Church education is about knowing, doing, living with others and being. It is about learning, thinking, discovering, collaborating and connecting. Difference is valued and tolerance, integrity, social responsibility - especially care for our environment - and international awareness are promoted at all times. Our Vision is to create a just and sustainable world for all.
The School’s academic and co-curricular programs are as challenging as they are exciting and engaging. Our active, enjoyable and enquiry-oriented approach stimulates the boys’ curiosity, gives them confidence in their own abilities, inspires them to value learning and helps them set personal educational goals.
We also encourage our students to find their voice. They are advised to question what they have learned and to stand up for what they believe.
Above all Christ Church is a school in which people matter. Every boy is important and all members of our academic and support staff know that they are valued for their expertise and for the level of professionalism they bring to their roles. Parents too are encouraged to be actively involved in the School’s support groups. Ours is a dynamic and energetic community.
When a young man graduates from Christ Church we are proud of who he is. We look forward to hearing news of his post-school successes because we believe we have laid the foundations for him to make a difference – no matter how big or small – to the world in which we live.
This website introduces you to aspects of who we are as one of Australia’s leading independent boys’ schools (Pre-Primary – Year 12). If you would like to find out more about Christ Church, please contact me, or a member of the school community. We are very proud of our school and would be delighted to speak to you about Christ Church.
