Community goes green at St Patrick’s Day Cocktail Party

A mixture of parents, old boys, staff and members of the Queenslea Club came dressed in green for the annual Christ Church Community Cocktail Party – this year held on St Patrick’s Day.
The Parents’ Association and Old Boys’ Association were joint hosts of the party, which was held on the Chapel Forecourt. Guests enjoyed delicious canapés, including freshly shucked oysters, served by boys from the Midnite Youth Theatre Company who were suitably dressed as Leprechauns.
The Christ Church Jazz Combo, led by Paul Millard, along with the laidback acoustic sounds of Hiatus, featuring old boy Jake Minear (Class of 1986), provided the music for the night.
About 220 guests attended the event.
