Boys Beat the Heat

In the midst of the current heat-wave, a trip for Mrs Barbara Bosich’s Pre-Primary class to Dinosaur Park was a fun day with the added challenge of finding ways to keep cool.

Together the boys discovered ways to use water to cool themselves – such as soaking their hats, standing under spraying sculptures and a burst water fountain and splashing each other with sprays from a cool water bottle.

Mrs Bosich drove the bus back to school, taking the long way home, enabling the boys to enjoy the airconditioned comfort and see the sights of the city.

The boys said they loved "going under the sprinkler trees", "climbing on the dinosaurs", "being on the bus with the bumps", "going down the firemens' pole" and, of course, getting wet.
