Mum’s the Word at Pre-Primary Afternoon Tea
In celebration of Mother’s Day, Ms Barbara Bosich and Mrs Megan Walsh’s classes were transformed into the ‘Pre-Primary Pamper Palace’. Mums and significant others were treated to a Mother’s Day Afternoon Tea by their biggest fans.
The afternoon included entertainment, handmade gifts and baked goods as well as a range of ‘pampering’ services. On offer at the pamper palace were massages, nail painting (in clear varnish), hand cream and hair brushing at a cost of hugs, kisses and cuddles.
In full voice, the boys performed the song, Skinamarinkadink, and later, asked their mums to join them for a dance to Leo Sayer’s You Make Me Feel Like Dancing.
The special guests were also showered with gifts including a decorative dish the boys had made during art classes using an impression of their knee as well as a door hanger decorated with their handprint. Dads were ‘secretly’ asked to help the boys with writing about why they loved their mum, which were used in a card book and presented on the day.
The boys and their special guests enjoyed a lovely afternoon tea, including an orange cake that PPBB had cooked themselves.
