Prep Boys Parade Christmas Cheer in Claremont
Prep students took to the streets of Claremont recently to spread the spirit of Christmas to the local community.
Thirty boys represented Christ Church Grammar School in an impressive pageant led by Santa. The parade weaved around Bay View Terrace and St Quentin's Avenue in the Claremont central business district.
"CCGS were the largest group in the parade and many wonderful parents helped keep the boys on track," Mrs Angela Perry, Cultural Studies teacher said.
The group carried colourful banners made by the Year 2 Art classes and the Year 5 B-Boy Crew performed a dance item at the carnival. Participants in the event agreed that the procession was a special way to welcome the arrival of the holiday season.
