Over the course of the three years, all boys will have been exposed to all four languages and therefore, make an informed choice when they select a language to study in the Senior School for Years 7 and 8.

In Years 4, 5 and 6, boys learn the fundamentals of the language such as learning how to greet a person in the target language, talk about themselves and their families. They will learn to count and talk about classroom objects and situations.

Culture and festivals of the target languages’ countries will be explored and boys will engage in a range of spoken, written and active hands-on activities.
