Mathematics
Mathematics is taught by classroom teachers using learning experiences designed to lead to the achievement of Outcome Statements that relate to the WA Curriculum Framework.
In the Mathematics Learning Area, students learn about mathematics, what it is and how it is used in making decisions and solving problems. The key areas are: Appreciating Mathematics, Working Mathematically, Number, Measurement, Chance and Data, Space and Algebra. Mathematics involves observing, representing and investigating patterns and relationships in social and physical phenomena and between mathematical objects themselves.
