ELC Makes a Splash

Early Learning Centre students made a big splash at the ELC Swimming Carnival held on Tuesday. The annual carnival, for Pre-Primary to Year 3 boys, is the culmination of the boys’ swimming lessons this term.
ELC Physical Education Teacher Kim Malajczuk said the boys had to swim freestyle, backstroke and breaststroke with an open butterfly event for those keen to try. “All the boys swam extremely well and we had some wonderful races, particularly in Year 3,” Mrs Malajczuk said.
A large number of parents attended the morning, which has become a favourite event in the Prep School calendar. A group of Year 6 students also provided assistance in and around the pool to boys and staff.
