The results of the combined scores from the Year 3-4 carnival and the Year 5-6 carnival, held on Monday and Tuesday respectively at the Christ Church Swimming Pool, were announced at today’s assembly. Forrest won with 1088 points, followed by Dale (934), Giles (896) and Stirling (824).

Forrest was also awarded the Spirit Shield for demonstrating the best spirit, sportsmanship and overall behavior on the day.
Prep School Sportsmaster Brady Leckie said, "At the beginning of the year all I asked from the boys was that they would give 110% effort towards all sporting activities - and they demonstrated this during the carnivals. It was great to see all boys from year 3 - 6 involved over the two carnivals.”

"Both events were well supported by parents and friends of CCGS, with the boys demonstrating terrific sportsmanship and skill across the water. We had some amazing results, demonstrating again the amazing depth of swimmers we have.”

Mr Leckie said the Prep School interschool squad had been selected and will compete on Thursday 3 March at Challenge Stadium in the JPSSA Interschool Carnival. “We are the defending champions, after winning the inaugural shield last year,” he said.

The following boys were named as champions and runners-up at today’s assembly:
