An exciting sports competition on the top oval was a perfect opportunity for new Prep School boys to “buddy up” with their classmates and try out their new Centenary caps and flying frisbees.

The lunchtime initiative, organised by Prep School Director of Pastoral Care, Planning and Co-Curricular Brad Hilliard and Prep Sportsmaster Brady Leckie, included basketball, footy and throwing games with the new Centenary frisbee.

“It’s definitely a great way to get the newbies together,” Mr Leckie said. Mr Hilliard said the older boys took to the games with great enthusiasm and made the new students feel welcome.

Tom, from Year 6 and Byram, from Year 5, agreed that the frisbees and new caps were “really cool”. They said they were very excited about the Birthday Carnivale on Sunday 7 February and were “especially looking forward to the rides”.
