Christ Church celebrates another magnificent year – 2009 TEE results
Christ Church graduating students have excelled in the 2009 Tertiary Entrance Examinations and Wholly School Assessed Courses. Of the 179 students who sat TEE, 24 students (13 per cent of TEE candidates) achieved a Tertiary Entrance Rank (TER) of 99 or higher. Thirty-six boys (20 per cent of TEE candidates) achieved a TER of 98 or higher, 69 students (39 per cent of TEE candidates) achieved a TER of 95 or higher and 100 students (56 per cent of TEE candidates) achieved a TER of 90 or higher.
Christ Church obtained five General Exhibitions, which are awarded to the top 40 students in the State. Congratulations to Tom Bransden, who was the second-ranked student in the State; Bo An Lu, who was ranked third; Joseph Wong fourth; Jason Kong eighth; and Richard O’Halloran 24th.
Subject Exhibitions, for the top candidates in each subject, were awarded to Ardhika Natalegawa (Accounting), and Bo An Lu (Applicable Mathematics and Music).
28 Certificates of Distinction, for the top 0.5 per cent of candidates in each subject, were awarded to the following students.

Certificates of Excellence for achieving at least 10 A grades in Years 11 and 12 (and no grade less than a B) were awarded to 20 students from the 2009 graduating class:

Of the 14 students who completed a majority of WSA subjects:
Nine students were enrolled in one or more national training module or unit of competency.
Nine students achieved one or more qualifications at Certificate 1 or higher, five students achieving certificate IV and four students Certificate III qualification.
Six students obtained at least one result in a Workplace Learning (WPL) subject
Seven students obtained one or more A grades in a WSA subject.
These results cap off another terrific year for Christ Church. Headmaster Garth Wynne said the School was proud of its students. “It is a combination of their refined focus, the support of their parents, the excellence of their teachers and many years of hard work.
