Badminton was first played by PSA schools in 1998 and became an official PSA sport in 2002. It has a short development period as it is only offered in Years 11 and 12.
The boys are led by professional coach Norman Anthony from the LG Badminton Academy and over the years, there has been a steady increase in the number of players.
Since 1998, Christ Church has won the competition five times including 1998, 1999, 2001, 2002 and 2003. The First VI has finished second on five other occasions.
