The Christ Church Sailing Team sails out of Royal Freshwater Bay Yacht Club, which is recognised as one of the finest sailing establishments in the world.

The programme involves boys throughout the School in a range of diverse sailing opportunities beginning in the Preparatory School, through to recreational, development and competition level in the Senior School. Here, boys develop their skills through teamwork, initiative and leadership opportunities in solo and two-person dinghy sailing as well as group yachting.

Christ Church has a history of state and national championship titles. The School has won the WA Schools Teams Racing Championships 16 times since 1992 – most recently in 2012. Its most recent win at the National Schools Teams Racing Championships was in 2010.

Today’s sailors follow in a proud tradition of highly successful old boys – some among the world’s best.
