2012 winter sport captains announced
Headmaster Garth Wynne announced the Senior School captains of sport for the 2012 winter season at assembly today. These boys will lead their codes as they prepare to take on Scotch this Friday and Saturday.
Mr Wynne congratulated the captains, vice-captains and committeemen on their selection and wished all boys and their teams well for the winter season. He also called on the boys to maintain the School’s high standards of ‘good sportsmanship’.
This round marks the commencement of the PSA winter season for all Senior School teams in badminton, cross country, football, hockey, rugby and soccer. Competitive sailing began in the Term 1 holidays while PSA surfing gets underway in Term 3.
School Vice-Captain Tom England encouraged younger boys to support the senior teams at games on Saturdays. To view training, fixtures and results, click here.
