Art Classes

The Arts

Information about Art, Drama and Music at Christ Church Grammar School.

Collaborative Learning Centre (Senior Library)

The Senior School Library is located upstairs in the CLC building at Christ Church Grammar School.

Design and Technology

Design and Technology provides students with the opportunity to explore and develop their innovative and creative talents by designing and constructing practical products utilising state of the art workshops and computing facilities.

English

The English learning area has a special role in developing boys' literacy. It focuses on knowledge about language and how it works.

Health and Physical Education

In the ever-changing world we live in, students are increasingly faced with issues related to obesity, lifestyle diseases, stress and conflict. It is in the Health and Physical Education Learning Area that boys are provided with the tools, strategies and alternatives to deal with such issues.

Humanities

The Humanities Department includes the subjects of Economics and Commerce, Philosophy and Ethics, and Society and Environment.

Information and Communication Technology (ICT)

The ICT area has a vital role in facilitating the use of new and emerging information and communications technologies by students and staff at the School.

Languages

The School encourages the acquisition of a second language in today’s global society and offers many opportunities for our students to develop skills in this area.

Mathematics

The Mathematics learning area is a supportive environment for boys and facilitates development in various numerical and literary skills.

Sciences

The Science Department believes in the development of potential through personal excellence, challenge and working with others. Concepts of diversity, sustainability and conservation are presented as key elements of Science and are valued as an integral part of our place in society.
