Justin, a writer of children’s and young adult fiction, gave the boys an insight into some of his 29 titles over the three-day visit including some of the rules of writing and his own fascination with the writer’s question – what if?

Justin’s books include the hugely popular Extreme Adventures series. His books for teenagers, Pool, Hunters and Warriors and Shadow Master have all won awards, as have the Extreme Adventure titles, Crocodile Attack and Scorpion Sting.

Teacher librarian Margaret Chapple said Justin used the opportunity to talk to the boys about his books, life as an author and the publishing process. “He entertained the boys with his many stories,” Ms Chapple said. “I am sure they will all remember the evolution of his name and the Dreamworld ride.”
