Changing Courses or Schools

Changing Courses

A boy may change subjects between Year 11 and Year 12 but should remember that prior study in some subjects is required. If a new Year 12 subject is being considered boys should discuss this with the subject teacher or Head of Subject.

If a boy wishes to change a subject during Year 11 or 12 the change should be made within the first six weeks of the term. After the first 6 weeks, changes can only be made under exceptional circumstances. It may be that permission for the change has to be sought from Curriculum Council.

Where changes are made during Term 1 it is necessary for approval to be obtained from a parent and the Head of House. A form is completed requiring the signature of old and new teachers before a new timetable is issued.
