As we move into the last week of the school year staff have been reminding boys about their responsibilities in relation to books, iPads, belongings and lockers. Next Monday to Thursday we need our Year 7, 8, 9 and 11 students to return any school issued textbooks to the Bookroom. Year 9 boys are required to return their iPads from Wednesday morning as per the email sent to them from the IT Department.

Tomorrow we will welcome home our Year 10 ‘venturers’. It was very pleasing to hear that many of the groups were in high spirits last weekend. Venture is such an important ‘rite of passage’ for Christ Church boys. They will return with a sense of great achievement from their adventuring and experience in living with others. These experiences will provide stories for a lifetime! I hope you will notice a difference in the boys on their return to the School. Estimated return times can be viewed here.

Next Friday 1 December from 12.00pm to 1.15pm we have the Years 7 to 11 Final Assembly and Prize Giving. This assembly celebrates the achievements of the boys over the past year and is held in the Chapel where space is at a premium. Regretfully, we are unable to accommodate the entire Senior School parent group and therefore only parents of prize winners will receive invitations to attend. Please remind your son that it is important to wear his formal uniform for this occasion. All boys will be able to leave the campus at the end of the assembly.

On behalf of all the Senior School staff, I would like to wish you all a safe and enjoyable holiday.
