School Library

The Christ Church Library has two separate spaces – the Preparatory Library and the Senior Library. We support boys with their academic studies, run Reading for Pleasure programs from Kindergarten to Year 9, develop research skills, and co-ordinate a range of activities that encourage students to be creative and work collaboratively.

Boys can borrow from a wide variety of fiction and non-fiction titles for a two-week loan period (titles can be renewed if students are not finished). The number of titles available for loan varies across year groups to cater for their different maturity level.

Preparatory School Library
The new Preparatory Library, opened in 2019, caters specifically for boys from Kindergarten to Year 6 and the staff who teach them. The Preparatory Library is open daily from 8.15am to 3.30pm and is open every lunchtime.

Senior School Library
The Senior Library is a contemporary, light-filled multi-purpose space continually evolving to meet the needs of boys and staff. Students from Years 6 to 12 can use and borrow from the Senior Library. The Senior Library is open from 8.00am to 6.00pm Monday to Thursday and from 8.00am to 4.00pm every Friday. It is open every recess and lunchtime.
