Years 7 to 8 – Breadth and depth
Exploring his abilities
In this phase, we introduce boys to a range of academic, co-curricular and pastoral experiences to make the most of opportunities for their future school years. Students are engaged in compulsory sport and outdoor education, and are mentored by Year 11 Peer Support leaders as they become valued members of their House.
Learning is highly structured to ensure the core areas of numeracy, literacy, Humanities and Science are emphasised to build a strong foundation for future subject opportunities.
Languages, the Arts, Design and Technology, and Personal and Spiritual Development (PSD), combined with co-curricular offerings such as debating, public speaking, chess, robotics and Service in Action (SIA) provide diversity for boys to pursue their interests and passions in the following years.
