Unforgettables Christmas lunch and farewell to Garth
Published on: 16 December 2015
Twenty-six Unforgettables gathered for a Christmas lunch of ham and turkey in the Old Boys’ Gallery in December. At the beginning of the lunch a moment’s silence was observed to acknowledge the passing of Bob Anderson (1949). Recollections of Bob’s significant contribution to the Unforgettables in the early days were read to the group. The Headmaster gave a farewell address to great applause and Ian McCall (1944) rose to his feet to deliver an impromptu and magnificent response.
