Residential Community

Up one level

Christ Church has been caring for boarders for almost a century. Currently our boarders come from country districts in Western Australia, interstate and overseas. The diversity of their backgrounds enriches school life. The boys have the opportunity to develop friendships with students from all over the world.

International Students

We welcome international students at Christ Church. Many of the boys applying for full fee overseas positions at the School have been recommended by, or are sons of, former students therefore the School does not require the services of overseas agents. The application fee for full fee overseas students is $300.

Square Of Care

Four members of staff are primarily responsible for a boarder’s welfare – the Director of the Residential Community, his Year Group Co-ordinator, his Head of House and his Tutor. Together these four people form the boy’s Square of Care. Boarders are allocated to one of the eight School Houses for the school day and for all inter-house competitions. Here they have the opportunity to form close friendships with day boys in their Tutorials and Houses.

Recreation

The Recreation Officer co-ordinates weekend activities.

News at the Residential Community

Boarding provides a warm and nurturing educational environment for the boys as they move through their adolescent years. They enjoy the company of their peers and treasure the friendships they develop – friendships that often last a lifetime.
