Parents’ Association
Building a Warm and Connected Community
The Parents’ Association (PA) was formed in May 1921 with the aim of supporting the greater school community while also providing an opportunity for parents to be more actively involved in life at Christ Church. More than 100 years later, the aim remains the same: to unite and engage the school community to enhance our students’ success.

Who we are
The Parents’ Association (PA) has been the heartbeat of the Christ Church community since 1921. While our history is long, our goal is simple: to make sure every family feels welcome, supported, and connected.
We are here to help every parent and to ensure you and your son have an amazing journey.
What we do
The PA focuses on building friendships and community through relaxed, social events.
- Year Group Sundowners: Casual evening drinks to meet other parents in your son’s year.
- Morning Teas: A great way to catch up after drop-off.
- Whole of School Events: Bringing our entire community together.
- Strategic Support: The PA partners with the School to fund exciting projects that directly enrich the students’ experience.
Get involved
The committee is dedicated to supporting your son’s success and enhancing the school experience for all families. The PA offers a fantastic opportunity to connect with other parents, contribute to meaningful school projects, and have a voice in the school community. Whether you can attend monthly meetings, help with community events, or want to stay informed, your involvement will make a difference.
To learn more or get involved, please contact the Parents’ Association at pa@ccgs.wa.edu.au or speak with one of our committee members. We would love to hear from you!
Raffle
The PA raffle is held every term and is a key way we fund projects for students.
The Prize: A credit to your tuition account equivalent to the value of one term’s fees.
Meetings
The PA Committee generally meets on the first Wednesday of each month during term time at 7.00pm in the Council Room.
These aren’t just business meetings – they are a great chance to hear updates from the Principal, share your ideas, and meet other engaged parents. All parents are members of the Association, and you are warmly encouraged to attend.
Parent name badges
Replacement name badges are $10 each. If parents would like to order an additional or replacement name badge, they may do so here.
Hosting a teenage party
The Parents’ Association would like to refer parents to Paul Dillon’s guidelines for hosting a teenage party. Please read these guidelines here.
Alcohol Position Statement
The PA has a position statement of recommendations and expert information related to the serving of alcohol at social events where students are present. Please refer to the statement here.
