Christ Church Grammar School is seeking an energetic and innovative Humanities teacher to join its Humanities Department, commencing Term 2, 2026.

This position offers an exciting opportunity for a committed educator to work within a collegial and forward thinking team that values innovative classroom practice and responds thoughtfully to the individual learning needs of boys.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Deliver engaging and inclusive teaching and learning by applying effective pedagogy that supports diverse learners, with the ability to teach Humanities and Social Sciences Years 7–10 and, ideally, Politics and Law ATAR in Years 11–12.
  • Contribute to curriculum development and departmental collaboration through positive participation in the Humanities team, supporting innovative classroom practice and fostering strong collegial relationships.
  • Support the broader life of the School by embracing the innovative use of technology in teaching and contributing to co‑curricular programs and student engagement initiatives.

  • Recognised teaching qualifications and compliance, including relevant tertiary qualifications in Humanities and Social Sciences (with strength in Politics and Law), eligibility to teach in Western Australia, and current child‑safety clearances.

Full-time, Fixed-Term (Three-Year Appointment)

Christ Church Grammar School is seeking applications from dynamic, passionate and committed educators for this full-time position commencing Term 2 2026. 

This role offers an outstanding educator the opportunity to support and help shape a dynamic Humanities department teaching across Years 7 to 12. With a broad and rigorous subject offering, the department is committed to academic excellence and the pursuit of knowledge. Through its work, each boy is challenged to think critically and creatively, engage deeply with ideas, and develop a thoughtful, informed understanding of his values and worldview.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Build staff capability and professional practice by supporting recruitment, induction, practicum supervision and ongoing professional learning, including facilitating communities of practice, lesson observations and feedback to strengthen teaching and learning across the Department.
  • Lead pedagogical excellence and curriculum delivery through the development and review of programs, assessments and resources, ensuring alignment with curriculum requirements, consistent moderation practices and high‑quality teaching, learning and reporting outcomes.
  • Support effective departmental operations and collegiality by assisting with administration, use of school systems, organisation of excursions and events, promotion of departmental initiatives, and acting for the Head of Department as required.

It is an expectation of the School that all members of staff contribute to the co-curricular program in a manner that balances the needs of the School with the successful applicant’s talents and interests. Staff are also expected to be fully supportive of their pastoral responsibilities in a School that places a high value on the care of the individual within a vertically organised House and tutor system

Initially, this is a three-year appointment. Should the successful applicant not continue in this role beyond the three-year period, they will be appointed as a full-time teacher within the Senior School Humanities Department.

Friday 13 February 2026 at 12.00pm

We’re seeking a dynamic team member to support the Essential Services Department across the campus and school owned property to the highest standards attainable. 

Key responsibilities include:

  • Campus Operations & Cleaning Support, assist with daily waste and recycling services, spot cleaning, wash‑downs using high‑pressure equipment, and maintaining campus cleanliness standards
  • Logistics, Events & Asset Handling, provide hands‑on support for event setup and pack‑down, equipment transport, deliveries, stock movement, classroom/office relocations, and hire vehicle coordination
  • Safety, Security & Compliance Support, respond to security incidents and emergency procedures as directed, while actively following WHS requirements, identifying hazards, and ensuring safe use and storage of tools and equipment

What you’ll bring:

  • Proactive, adaptable, and reliable approach, demonstrating initiative, flexibility, enthusiasm, and professionalism with tact and diplomacy.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across diverse groups while also working independently when required.
  • Required licences and driving capability, holding a minimum C Class driver’s licence, with MR/HR highly desirable.
