Christ Church Grammar School is seeking applications from dynamic, passionate and committed educators for this full-time position commencing Term 1, 2020.

This position requires an educator with experience teaching English across Years 7 to 12 to join a department that is committed to fostering the pursuit of knowledge.  It is a discipline which encourages each boy to achieve his potential and, through the promotion of wide reading and critical and creative thinking, develop a broad understanding of his own values and world views.

The Assistant Head of Department is responsible for the everyday working of the Department in the teaching, learning and assessment of students in three year groups.

All staff are expected to support the ethos of the School, possess excellent teaching and interpersonal skills, will have an exceptional understanding of innovative educational pedagogy and show an understanding of boys’ educational teaching and learning practices.

It is an expectation of the School that all members of staff contribute to the co-curricular program in a way that balances the needs of the School and the successful applicant’s talents and interests. Similarly, staff are expected to be fully supportive of their pastoral responsibilities in a School that values highly the care of the individual within a House system that is vertically organised into tutor groups.

Christ Church Grammar School is a non-selective school for boys (PK-12) in Claremont, Perth, Australia. The academic performance of Christ Church boys consistently places graduates amongst the top schools in Australia.

The School, like other facets of the community, depends on reliable ICT services for efficient day-to-day operation. In order to effectively maintain these services, the School seeks keen, people-friendly, motivated and technically proficient individuals to manage the ICT Services.

We are seeking to appoint a Systems Engineer who will be responsible for the trouble-free operation of the school’s application and authentication services infrastructure. In this context the role specifically focusses on the Microsoft eco-system and software infrastructure.

It is anticipated the successful applicant will hold appropriate qualifications and relevant experience.  They will have excellent relationship management skills, be a self-starter who takes initiative and have the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

All staff are expected to be enthusiastic professionals and in sympathy with the ethos of an Anglican boys’ school.

The School is looking for a suitably qualified, highly motivated teacher to join a unique working environment with an outstanding reputation, commencing at the start of Term 1, 2020 until the end of Term 3, 2020.

The Peter Moyes Centre (PMC) provides a secure and caring learning environment for boys with a range of disabilities.

The PMC caters for the learning and developmental needs of boys with low to high support requirements including severe language impairment, Autism and Down syndrome as well as intellectual and multiple disabilities. Each boy has a documented learning plan, developed in collaboration with his parents, to set goals for the development of a range of skills and to nurture his independence and confidence.
