Christ Church Grammar School is seeking applications from dynamic, passionate and committed educators for this full-time position commencing Term 1, 2021.

The position requires an educator with knowledge and skills in delivering Philosophy and Ethics ATAR in Year 11 and 12, Year 7 to 10 Religious Education and Year 7 to 10 Humanities.

The successful applicant will support the ethos of the School, possess excellent teaching and interpersonal skills, will have an exceptional understanding of innovative educational pedagogy and show an understanding of boys’ educational teaching and learning practices.

It is an expectation of the School that all members of staff contribute to the co-curricular program in a way that balances the needs of the School and the successful applicant’s talents and interests.

Maternity Leave Replacement, full-time, 12-month temporary position for 2021

Christ Church Grammar School, one of Western Australia’s leading independent boys’ schools, is seeking a suitably qualified, highly motivated teacher to join a unique working environment with an outstanding reputation, commencing Term 1, 2021.

This position works in the Peter Moyes Centre (PMC) which caters for the learning and developmental needs of boys with low to high support requirements including severe language impairment, autism and Down syndrome as well as intellectual and multiple disabilities.  Wherever possible and following consultation with parents and teachers, students join their mainstream peers and the curriculum is adjusted to meet their needs.

Full-time, Fixed-term for 2021, two positions available

Christ Church Grammar School is seeking two trainees to be employed during 2021 at its Outdoor Education Centre, Kooringal, situated on the Murray River near the town of Dwellingup and 110 kilometres south-east of Perth.

This is an exciting opportunity commencing mid-January 2021 where you will complete a Certificate III in Outdoor Recreation along with other outdoor recreation qualifications.  The positions would ideally suit young enthusiastic persons who are keen to work with young people, enjoy being in the outdoor environment and possess a willingness to work and learn in all areas.  The one-year traineeship will be particularly valuable for people considering career pathways in education, outdoor recreation or sports industries.

The applicants we are seeking should have recently completed Year 12 studies and have a valid Australian driver’s licence, you will be physically fit and enjoy practical learning.  You will be required to work in a wide variety of environments across Western Australia and will be based/live in at our Kooringal Outdoor Education Centre.
