As a consequence of the incumbent Mr Richard Wright being appointed as Head of Junior School at Presbyterian Ladies’ College Perth, Christ Church Grammar School is seeking an outstanding educator and dynamic leader to guide the operation of the Preparatory School.
As a member of the School Executive, the Head of Preparatory School is accountable to the Principal and has a specific responsibility for the management of the Preparatory School and all that this entails with particular attention to staff, pastoral and academic matters and links with parents and the wider community.
The Head of the Preparatory School works on a daily basis to ensure the effective and efficient operation of the Preparatory School. This includes overseeing the academic and co-curricular programs, enacting the School’s strategic plan and implementing School Policy through the relevant members of Executive. A vital component of this role is to identify and implement innovative practice as the School strives for continuous improvement across all aspects of its planning and operation.
It is anticipated that the successful applicant will have a considerable degree of independence and autonomy, and in consultation with the Principal, be prepared to take initiatives, develop curriculum and lead and manage staff as they present high quality and relevant educational programs for boys.
