We’re seeking a dynamic team member to support the Essential Services Department across the campus and school owned property to the highest standards attainable. With our brand new, state of the art playing fields opening in 2027, this is an exciting time to join our Grounds team. You’ll play a key role in maintaining premier facilities that will elevate the experience for our students, staff, and wider community.
Key responsibilities include:
- Maintain and improve school grounds: Carry out gardening, turf and oval care, hedging, low‑level pruning, paving and wall repairs, irrigation and drainage maintenance, stormwater clearing, and general daily grounds clean‑up.
- Operate and care for equipment safely: Use and maintain grounds machinery (mowers, tractors, sprayers, aerators, high‑pressure cleaners), handle chemicals and fertilizers safely, support preventative maintenance programs, and follow all WHS practices
- Provide operational and event support: Assist with construction tasks, equipment movement, classroom set‑ups, rubbish disposal, parcel dispatching, and the set‑up/pack‑down of sporting events and school functions, along with other duties as required.
What you’ll bring:
- Practical skills, qualifications and safety focus: A current National Police Certificate and Working with Children Check, strong physical capability for manual tasks, competence with hand tools, power tools, turf machinery, and safe work practices, plus a valid C‑Class licence (MR/HR desirable).
- Professionalism, reliability and sound judgement: The ability to work independently and as part of a team, use initiative, prioritise tasks in a busy environment, meet deadlines, maintain confidentiality, follow instructions, exercise good judgement, and uphold the school’s values and expectations.

Christ Church Grammar School is seeking an energetic and innovative Science teacher to join its Science Department, commencing Term 2, 2026 with a fixed term tenure.

Key responsibilities include:
- Deliver engaging lower-school Science classes (Years 7–10), including Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Psychology, and mixed‑ability teaching strategies.
- Contribute to curriculum development and the innovative use of digital technologies in Science teaching.
- Support the broader life of the School by embracing the innovative use of technology in teaching and contributing to co‑curricular programs and student engagement initiatives.
