Christ Church Grammar School is seeking a dedicated and passionate Science educator to join our vibrant teaching team for a full-time, ongoing position starting Term 1, 2026. This role involves teaching Science across Years 7 to 10, and Year 11 and 12 ATAR Chemistry, with the ability to teach Physics up to Year 10 considered advantageous.
The ideal candidate will be committed to applying pedagogical strategies that support the diverse abilities and multicultural backgrounds of our students, fostering an inclusive and dynamic learning environment. You will collaborate closely with colleagues within the Science department to develop and deliver a cohesive curriculum, ensuring consistent standards across planning, assessment, and moderation processes.
As a Science educator, you will create engaging and stimulating lessons, incorporating opportunities for students to explore learning beyond the classroom and use external resources to enrich their understanding. You will also play an active role in fostering independent learning, guiding students in developing effective study strategies, and ensuring regular homework and assessments are set and marked in line with school policies.
An important aspect of this role is contributing to the pastoral care of students. As part of our School’s vertical house group model, you will take responsibility for a tutorial group, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to foster students’ personal growth and wellbeing. You will also be expected to contribute to the co-curricular program, where you can bring your own skills and interests to enhance the wider school community.

Christ Church Grammar School is seeking a highly skilled and passionate Visual Arts Specialist Teacher to join our dynamic Art department. This rare part-time, fixed term opportunity offers a teaching load spread across only three days per week, providing an exceptional work-life balance while allowing you to make a significant impact on the creative development of our students.
In this role, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and structured lessons across a variety of Visual Arts disciplines, including drawing, painting, and sculpture, to boys in Years 7-10. The opportunity to teach Year 11-12 students is an added advantage. You will implement teaching methodologies that cater to mixed-ability classrooms and are specifically tailored to the needs of boys’ education, ensuring that every student has the support and challenge they need to thrive.
As a member of our dedicated Art team, you will contribute positively to all aspects of the Visual Arts program at our School, which includes working collaboratively with colleagues to create and deliver cross-curricular projects and the organisation of art events and cultural celebrations that enrich the school community and foster a love of the arts.
