Customising the App

Features such as the calendar, year group notices and notifications can be customised.

Calendar

To customise your Calendar view (this is best done on a desktop/laptop):

  1. Visit Nexus
  2. Click on Calendar in the top navigation bar
  3. Click on Filters in the top right, below the navigation bar
  4. Check/Uncheck the activities you wish to follow in the Event column and click Apply Filters at the bottom once done

Notices

To customise your ‘Notices’ view:

  1. Within the CCGS App, press the setting icon at the bottom of the App
  2. Choose Subscriptions in the menu
  3. Select the year levels you wish to follow

Push notifications

The App has been designed to assist you in receiving important information as it becomes available.

To be notified of important notifications follow the instructions below:

Apple users

  1. Go to Settings
  2. Go to Notifications
  3. Select the CCGS App from the app listing
  4. Enable Allow Notifications, ensure all Alert types (Lock Screen, Notification Centre, Banners) are ticked and Sounds and Badges are enabled

Android users

  1. Go to Settings
  2. Go to Notifications
  3. Locate the CCGS App from the app listing (select see all option if necessary)
  4. Activate toggle to the right of CCGS App listing to enable all notifications
