Each year we invite our community to support important projects and initiatives that benefit every Christ Church boy.
This year, as our Old Boys’ Association marks its centenary, we celebrate and encourage the gift of a Christ Church education through one of our scholarship programs. We are also seeking support for our newest sports facility – the St John’s Wood playing fields – that offers spectacular new grounds on which our boys will enjoy team sports and activities.
Your gift, no matter how large or small, will help current and future generations of Christ Church boys.
Our Future Leaders
Indigenous Scholarship Fund
Our Indigenous Scholarship Program has been making an impact on young Indigenous men since 2005. It provides opportunities for boys who demonstrate leadership potential and who will benefit from all that Christ Church has to offer. We work very closely with Indigenous communities to identify boys who have the capacity and family support to thrive in our school environment. Please support this important program.
Alan Blackwood MC Memorial Scholarship
This scholarship has been established to recognise the commitment and dedication of Alan Blackwood MC, staff member for 35 years (1949 to 1983) including 18 years as Deputy Headmaster, and a legacy gift he has directed to our scholarship program. Alan displayed integrity of the highest order and held a deep love for the School. This scholarship is available for sons and grandsons of Christ Church old boys. Donations to this scholarship are not tax deductible.
The Gift of an Education
Our philanthropic scholarships offer the gift of a Christ Church education for exceptional boys whose families are unable to finance attendance at the School. The gift of education, through our Scholarship Trust, allows us to offer a Christ Church education to worthy young men who are able to contribute to and enrich our community for the benefit of all boys.
St John’s Wood playing fields
The paint is still wet on the field markings of our new playing fields at St John’s Wood. This remarkable new facility, boasting five fields, provides current and future generations of boys with an amazing outdoor space on which to run out with their mates, enjoy camaraderie and make lifelong friendships.
