Christ Church Grammar School is well known for its exceptional Drama program.

Each year a scholarship is awarded to a boy entering Year 10 who shows outstanding skills in performance and collaboration. The scholarship has a value of 50 per cent of the School’s academic tuition fee.

The scholarship is for the duration of the student’s attendance at the School. It is also conditional upon excellence and ongoing commitment to the Christ Church Grammar School Drama program and active engagement with The Midnite Youth Theatre Company*.

A scholarship will be awarded following an audition process, at which applicants are required to:

  • prepare and deliver a monologue from the Scholarship Audition Monologue booklet
  • participate in a group drama workshop
  • complete an interview as part of the selection process

The Scholarship Audition Monologue booklet will be available on the Christ Church website from 1 June each year.

* The Midnite Youth Theatre Company at Christ Church Grammar School is Western Australia’s longest, continuously running youth theatre company for young people aged 10 to 25.
