Our 2021 Drama Scholarship offers a reduction of up to 50 percent of school tuition fees and is open to boys entering Years 7 to 10. Scholarships are offered to current students of Christ Church and boys wishing to attend the School. All applicants will need to demonstrate outstanding ability and a sustained interest in Drama.

The scholarships are reviewed annually and their continuance is dependent upon satisfactory conduct, attitude, participation and progress. Holders of the Scholarship will participate fully in productions and be excellent ambassadors of the Drama Department. Involvement in the Drama environment may also involve being a technician, stage manager, staffing front of house and working backstage.

Scholarship will be awarded following an audition process, at which applicants are required to:

  • prepare and deliver a monologue (audition material available from 6 March 2020)
  • participate in a group drama workshop
  • complete an interview as part of the selection process

A satisfactory performance in the entrance examination is a condition of a Drama Scholarship.

Scholarship applications for 2021 entry are now open and close on 6 March 2020.
