Academic diversity

True to the intent of the School’s founder Canon McClemans, who aspired to provide a school that catered for all boys, Christ Church is committed to providing a diverse and inclusive community where individuals are respected and all boys can belong.

As an academically inclusive school, Christ Church accepts boys with a wide range of abilities – from those who are academically gifted, through to students with learning challenges or students with special needs.

Academic enrichment

Christ Church has an outstanding reputation for inspiring excellence in boys and in every aspect of its programs. Across all year groups, students are encouraged to challenge themselves on the way to reaching their potential both inside and outside the classroom. Programs are designed to foster an environment that is challenging, stimulating, positive and where boys can be a catalyst for each other’s enrichment.

Peter Moyes Centre – education for students with disabilities

Our Peter Moyes Centre (PMC), located in the heart of the Preparatory School, provides a secure and caring learning environment for boys with a range of disabilities. Each boy has a Curriculum Differentiation Plan (CDP), developed in collaboration with his parents, which sets goals for the development of a range of skills and nurtures independence and confidence.

The PMC is currently at capacity in both the Preparatory and Senior School. The waitlist is extensive so if you are interested in enrolling your son into the PMC, please ensure you apply as early as possible.

For more information on admission into the PMC, please contact the Admissions Office on 08 9442 1703 or at admissions@ccgs.wa.edu.au.
