Remote learning in the Senior School will mirror your son’s normal timetable of classes. He will have his usual teachers and the usual times.
The day will commence with tutorial and break times will occur as per normal.
The structure for a remote lesson will be somewhat different from that of a classroom lesson. Creating a balance of synchronous (direct teacher contact, set timescale) and asynchronous (independently driven, not strictly time based) learning opportunities can maximise the engagement and progress of each student, providing sufficient support and opportunities for self-driven differentiation. I have provided the general structure below as a guideline, each learning area will modify to suit their particular content or activities.
Students will utilise their school device to access remote learning, links on this page outline guidelines for students and parents to support the learning process.
