Old boys steal victory in the OBA versus CCGS Firsts basketball game for 2016. It was a competitive game of basketball with a good crowd watching on. Ultimately, the old boys were just a little too big for the current first team, with Ben Purser (2007) dominant in the paint. Gerry Ansey (Year 12) was awarded the ‘Blackwood Medal’ as the most valuable player from the current first team.

At the end of the game teacher-in-charge Brad Downing thanked the old boys for their support of basketball at CCGS and James Balfour (2002) wished our boys all the best for the rest of the season. The match was refereed by Henry Roberts (2014) and Eliot Roberts (Year 12).
