Visitors to Fremantle will soon have the opportunity to view the fantastic work of Christ Church’s own Art Teacher Jean-Marc Rivalland this month during the Sculpture at Bathers festival.

Set in the historic Bathers Beach Art Precinct, Fremantle, the location and intimacy of S@B are unparalleled, offering audiences an unforgettable cultural experience and showcasing the unique, historic atmosphere of Fremantle’s West End.

Mr Rivalland’s artwork, titled ‘Plume’, will feature amongst the work of 71 other successful artists who have created compelling works that explore contemporary sculptural practice and reflect the uniqueness of Western Australia’s cultural landscape.

Mr Rivalland’s sculpture was inspired by the myriad bird’s feathers he would find on his daily walk around Manning Lake with his dog Austin.

S@B runs from 19 February to 7 March 2022. More details about the exhibition can be found here.
