First Teams and Old Boys face-off in Summer Round

Last weekend CCGS First Teams took on the old boys’ in the ‘Summer Round’ bringing together current students and old boys for a competitive series of fixtures.
Matches were closely contested across all matches. The old boys secured wins in Cricket, Basketball and Volleyball, while the First Teams recorded victories in Tennis and Water Polo (on penalties). With the majority of wins, the old boys claimed the 2026 Summer Sports Trophy.
Old Boys’ Association Vice President Rohin Kehal (’18) said the annual fixture remains a highlight of the sporting calendar.
“It’s fast, competitive and full of good banter,” he said.
“The Old Boys sides are a great mix of professional athletes and those who enjoy getting back into school sport.”
“The energy from the coaches and First Teams makes it a great start to the summer season.”
The event featured strong participation from several graduating cohorts, reflecting the ongoing connection between current students and our alumni.
