Marred by wet weather and looming thunderstorms earlier in the week, there was a worry that the House Cross Country Carnival would have to be postponed.

Fortunately however, the rain held off long enough for all of the Years 7 to 12 to boys competing in the Cross Country Carnival to complete the 5 kilometre race through Kings Park bushland.

The Houses all performed strongly across the different year groups with Jupp, Wolsey and Hill House in 1st, 2nd and 3rd place in the Middle School Placings and Noake, Queenslea and Romsey finishing 1st, 2nd and 3rd in the Senior School Placings.

After all the points were tallied the final results saw Wolsey take out first place with 11 points followed by Noake and Romsey Houses in equal second place, with Craigie, Jupp, Hill, Queenslea and Moyes filling out the rest of the standings respectively.

Anthony Lynch, Director of Sport said it was a great event and congratulated all boys involved, particularly the Champion boys and place getters.
