Pre-Primary student Jeremy Lin performs at Carnegie Hall
Published on: 10 September 2026
At just six years old, Pre-Primary student Jeremy Lin has achieved something many musicians can only dream of. He has performed at Carnegie Hall in New York, one of the world’s most renowned concert venues.
Jeremy’s journey to the famous stage began earlier this year when he participated in the 5th PREMIA International Young Artists Music Festival, competing in Group A for performers aged four to six. His playing impressed a 24-member international jury, earning him the Gold Award and the sole First Prize in his category.
The win earned Jeremy an invitation to take part in the PREMIA International Young Artists Music Festival Prizewinners Concert at Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall. He travelled to New York for the concert, where he was the youngest musician on the program.
Carnegie Hall has welcomed some of the world’s most celebrated musicians, including The Beatles, Louis Armstrong and Elton John. To take to such a prestigious stage at just six years old is a wonderful achievement and a memorable milestone in Jeremy’s musical journey.
We are delighted to celebrate Jeremy’s success and look forward to seeing where his love of music takes him as he continues to develop his talents and share them with the Christ Church community.
