This past week, Christ Church swimmers delivered strong performances at the JPSSA and PSA Inters carnivals at Perth HPC.

At the JPSSA Carnival, the team claimed an impressive second place in a highly competitive field, just seven points behind first. Special congratulations to Angus Rea (Year 6), who had a phenomenal day, winning all five of his events.

At the PSA Inters Carnival, Christ Church finished third overall, with some swimmers recording season personal bests. The Under 14 Division 1 Freestyle Relay team of Harry Hills Wright, Will Burton, Harry Skuse, and Ryan Sceney (Year 8) delivered a standout performance, breaking the PSA record with 1:54.47 and which was set by our school in 2022.

Congratulations also to William Kuan (Year 10), who broke the School records in both the 50m and 100m breaststroke. Theo Porter (Year 8) was another standout, earning the Jack Mah Cup as Christ Church’s top First Division competitor across freestyle, backstroke, and butterfly, after winning all three of his events on the night.

Well done to all swimmers for their commitment to training and the skill they displayed in the pool. Thanks also to the coaches, staff, and wider school community for their support. The team looks forward to building on these achievements and returning even stronger next season.
