Our Preparatory School boys took part in The Great Vegie Crunch this week, joining over 100 other schools across Western Australia to simultaneously crunch on fresh vegetables and create the world’s loudest crunch.

All boys were invited to bring in a range of fresh vegetables and become part of a record-breaking attempt to raise the ‘crunch-o-meter’ off the charts.

“Vegie man was there to encourage the children to eat their fresh vegetables, which are so important for physical and mental performance and long-term health,” says Preparatory School Deputy Head, Kim Morcom.

The Great Vegie Crunch, now in it’s sixth consecutive year, is part of the Cancer Council WA’s Crunch & Sip program which aims to educate students on the importance of eating fresh vegetables and encourage them to have fun while doing so.
