The safety of our students, families and wider community remains our highest priority.

At the end of this term, our long-serving Traffic Warden, Ivan, will retire after years of dedicated service to the Christ Church and MLC communities. A familiar face to generations of students and families, Ivan has helped keep the Queenslea Drive crossing safe each school day, and we thank him for his commitment and care.

With Ivan’s retirement approaching, the search is now underway for his successor.

The Traffic Warden plays a vital role in ensuring the safe movement of hundreds of students and families during busy morning drop-off and afternoon pick-up periods. The position also supports the safe and efficient flow of traffic for local residents, pedestrians and motorists.

Finding the right person for this role is in everyone’s interest. We encourage families to share this opportunity with friends, neighbours, relatives and community networks. With the support of our community, we hope to attract a strong field of applicants and ensure this important position is filled as soon as possible.

Until a replacement Traffic Warden is appointed, Christ Church and MLC will continue to oversee the operation of the crossing.
