Last week our Prefects organised a sausage sizzle to help raise money to support those impacted by the recent devastating bushfires in Wooroloo and the Perth Hills. Over $1080 was raised thanks to the generous support of the boys in the Senior School.
“It was excellent to see so many boys chipping in knowing that the funds were going to a good cause. The Prefects have demonstrated incredible leadership, and embodied the care and compassion that is a core value of the School” said Mr Neil Saggers, who assisted the Prefects in organising the fundraiser.
The Prefects have chosen Lord Mayor’s Distress Relief Fund for the donation to be directed. Donations raised via this fund will go to supplementing insurance cover to ease the financial burden on those who lost their homes and/or property in the fires.
