Year 8 student Natt Hongsri recently visited the Australian Institute of Sport for Wheelchair Basketball in Canberra to take part in a development program, a testament to his exceptional skills and commitment to the sport. Earlier in the year, Natt represented Western Australia in the state under-23 team at the national competition.

Wheelchair Basketball is a challenging and dynamic sport adapted for athletes with impairments that affect their lower extremities. It requires precision, agility, and teamwork, providing a platform for individuals to showcase their abilities and compete at the highest levels of athleticism.

Acting Co-ordinator of the Peter Moyes Centre Taylor Marsh said this recognition at a national level highlights the incredible potential and perseverance Natt possesses.

“We take great pride in seeing his efforts being acknowledged at such a prestigious level,” she said.

“Well done Natt!”
