Peter and Alex Dunbar

Peter Dunbar (1977) is the Director of Perth-based Phoenix Insurance Brokers. Peter, who has worked in the insurance industry since graduating from WAIT (now Curtin University), started with SGIO before opening an insurance broking business in Rockingham in 1990. In 2004, he joined forces with Phoenix and subsequently become a director. Phoenix has four branches, including Perth, Rockingham, Busselton and Broome, and employs more than 30 people. Peter’s son Alex (2003) recently joined the company as an Account Manager in the Perth office. Peter said: “It gives me great joy to have a hand in Alex’s development.” Peter and Alex would love to be of assistance to any old boys with general insurance requirements.
