Tonight, we wish the best of luck to all the students competing in the PSA Swimming Inters. PSA Swimming is always one of the highlights on the school calendar, and our swimmers will be looking to harness the energy of the crowd as they aim for back-to-back victories. Tickets are limited to parents of swimmers and a small group of senior students who will be cheering loudly in the stands. For everyone supporting from home, you can catch all the action online here.

We are incredibly fortunate to have a highly skilled and dedicated team of clinical nurses in our Health Centre who care for our residential community, students and staff. Recently, demand for our nurses has increased significantly. While we appreciate students’ commitment to attending school and completing assessments, students who are unwell are best placed at home where they can rest, recover fully and reduce the spread of infection. It has become increasingly common for students to arrive at school unwell and then present to the Health Centre shortly after, saying they are not well enough to attend classes. This places additional pressure on our nurses and increases the risk of illness spreading. We ask for your support in working with us by keeping unwell students at home, so we can ensure the Health Centre remains available for students who become unexpectedly unwell or injured during the school day.

Next Thursday, the School Prefects will be hosting a Sausage Sizzle Fundraiser, with all proceeds proudly supporting Fair Game. Every dollar raised goes directly towards helping young people access sport and the opportunities it creates. During Weeks 9 and 10, students are also encouraged to go through their sports sheds and donate any sports gear they are no longer using, including items such as footy boots and other equipment. Fair Game donation bins will be located in each Head of House office for students to drop off their items.
