Remote learning will mirror your son’s normal timetable of classes. He will have his usual teachers at the usual times.
The day will commence at 8.25am with form and break times to occur as normal.
The structure for a remote lesson will be somewhat different from that of a classroom lesson. By creating a balance of synchronous (direct instruction) and asynchronous (independent work) learning opportunities, teachers can maximise the engagement and progress of each student, provide support and opportunities for differentiation.
Students will utilise their school device to access remote learning, connect with their teacher and classmates.
Links on this page outline guidelines for students and parents to support the learning process.
