A chess board, poker table and marble-sorting machine are just some of the pieces currently on display as part of the School’s annual Design and Technology Exhibition.

Design and Technology students from Years 7 to 12 were joined by friends, family and Christ Church staff at the exhibition’s opening last Friday evening for an exclusive viewing of the hand-crafted works, which have taken the students anywhere from a full semester to one year to complete.

Head of Design and Technology Mr Alec Barbour said, “We are always astounded by the quality of work our students are able to produce each year, some of our Years 11 and 12 students have produced work that is easily at university or college level.”

“We have also been lucky to have MLC girls from Years 11 and 12 involved for the past eight years, they continue to produce exceptional work.”

“We are extremely proud of the students and are pleased that their time, energy and motivation has been rewarded with such incredible results.”
