The campus was abuzz on Friday as boys arrived for the Preparatory (Years 1 to 6) and Year 7 (2017) Orientation Day.

In the Preparatory School, 60 boys had their first taste of life as a Christ Church student. They joined their 2017 teachers and new classmates for a day of games, sports and ‘getting to know you’ activities.

In the Senior School, 100 new boys joined their peers for a day in the life of a Year 7 student. Head of Senior School Roger Bayly introduced the boys to the School’s House system and their allocation for 2017, followed by a tour of and activities in the Senior School.

Meanwhile, the Parents’ Association hosted a morning tea and information fair for 300 parents joining the School in 2017. This was a great opportunity for parents to speak with representatives from Music, Drama, Sport, the Wynne Centre for Boys’ Health and Wellbeing, the Health Centre, ICT, the Uniform Shop and more.
