Boys in our Early Learning Community (ELC) welcomed a recent visit by Principal Alan Jones, a tradition which has become warmly embraced since commencing in 2019.

The visit included a storytelling session with our Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten boys and at the conclusion each boy received a special gift.

Kindergarten teacher Ms Asha Rojahn said, “This has become a beautiful tradition where Mr Jones reads the boys a story and presents them with a Christ Church teddy bear.”

“The boys held their teddy bears tightly throughout the day and even insisted their teddies join us for rest time!”

“During the visit Mr Jones spoke to the boys about caring for this teddy bear and keeping it safe until the moment they reach Year 12.”

Kindergarten student William said, “Mr Jones was happy, he was reading a story to us called Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What do you see? He gave me a bear and it was special because it was a Christ Church bear.”

“I will cuddle him every night until I am a big boy.”
