This week, the Preparatory School has came alive with creativity and energy as students immerse themselves in the annual Week of the Arts. This vibrant celebration showcases talent across Dance, Drama, Visual Art, and Music, providing students with meaningful opportunities to express themselves and share their passions.

Throughout the week, each year level has presented its Class Concerts, giving students a platform to perform confidently in front of their peers in a supportive and encouraging environment.

A standout highlight has been the Year 6 production of Ali Baba and the Bongo Bandits, brought to life in partnership with the Midnite Theatre Youth Company. Over three exciting days of performances, the Year 6 students worked diligently to deliver this magical and hilarious musical, transporting audiences on a captivating Arabian adventure.

This afternoon, the excitement continues with the much-anticipated House Shout. This high-energy event will see students from each House go head-to-head in the Chapel, performing dynamic renditions of early 2000s hits, from S Club’s Bring It All Back to Bon Jovi’s It’s My Life. It promises to be a fun-filled afternoon bursting with House spirit and enthusiasm.

The week will conclude on a high note tomorrow with the Music Assembly, where our talented Preparatory School ensembles will take to the stage, performing a variety of pieces that highlight the diverse musical skills developed throughout the year. Following last week’s successful Spring Music Concert, this assembly is sure to be a fitting and memorable end to a spectacular term.
