Christ Church builds connections in regional WA
Published on: 31 July 2025
Each year, Christ Church’s boarding staff travel across regional Western Australia to attend field days and community events. These visits allow prospective families to meet our team, ask questions, and gain valuable insights into school life. Staff share their knowledge on our tight-knit boarding community and address any specific queries about academic, pastoral, or co-curricular offerings.
So far this year, our team has enjoyed strengthening ties with regional families at the Wagin Woolorama Agricultural Show and at our successful swim clinic in Broome.
This weekend, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Program Co-ordinator, Sam Wallace, will be at the Karratha FeNaClNG Festival, held from Saturday 2 to Sunday 3 August. Families in the area are warmly invited to visit the Christ Church booth, say hello, and learn more about what our school has to offer. If you know of anyone in the area who may be interested, we would appreciate your help in spreading the word.
Applications are currently open for the Regional Building Good Men Scholarship. This scholarship is available for students from regional WA wishing to attend Christ Church as a boarder, entering Year 7 in 2026 and 2027. The scholarship has a value of up to 50 per cent of the school tuition fees and, while subject to annual review, is tenable for the duration of a student’s education at Christ Church.
