This year, the School is strengthening its commitment to sun safety for both students and staff. Last week, Dr Andrew Duthie from The Skin Cancer Clinic Claremont, addressed the Senior School about the risks associated with ultraviolet (UV) exposure and shared practical, evidence-based strategies to reduce the risk of skin cancer.

Sun protection is a whole-of-school responsibility. We are empowering students to take ownership of their sun safety, supporting staff to lead by example, and encouraging safe sun habits not only at school but also beyond the school environment. As part of this focus, students are encouraged to wear hats during PE lessons, and throughout the day as they embark on recess, lunch and any outdoor activities.
