The Year 9 Geography students moved their classroom to the Perth Zoo on Wednesday, where they consolidated their learning about Biomes.

The boys learnt about the adaptations various animals have to exist within their respective biomes, culminating in meeting special guest Rico, a boa constrictor.

The boys then visited the African Savannah, Asian Rainforest and enjoyed the Australian Bushwalk, where they completed their geography fieldwork collecting data on a variety of animals and plants within each biome.

Every Year 9 student will visit the Perth Zoo during their Geography trimester this year.
