Over 90 Preparatory School students entertained a packed Chapel on Tuesday night at the Prep Winter Music Concert.

The concert, which is a culmination of all the efforts of the Prep ensembles in the first half of the year, was attended by parents, students and staff and was very well received by all.

“All music ensembles performed with enthusiasm, focus and discipline and were ecstatic at the opportunity to showcase their hard work to the Christ Church community”, said Preparatory Co-ordinator of Music Eboney Yapp.

The Winter Concert featured performances from nine ensembles including:

  • The Preparatory School Concert band opening the night with an energetic piece
  • Year 2/3 choir sang a song about the mysterious mess that keeps reappearing in their bedroom
  • The flute ensemble performing a number of traditional songs and old favourites, and
  • The Preparatory School Choir closing the night with a performance about the joys of singing
